Who is the face behind North Country Chef?

Welcome on my new culinary adventure! I’m Chef Jake. I’ve been cooking for the past 14 years all over the northeast. I’ve decided to head back to the north country, where I grew up, to raise my family and share my passion for food with you. As a personal chef, I can create custom menus for small gatherings in your home or prepare meals for the week. All the cooking and clean up is completed in the comfort of your home. Jake graduated Suma Cum Laude from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI where he acquired skills surrounding traditional and historical fare from around the world. He is a former research and development chef and caterer and previously was an executive chef in Boston and Providence. He is excited to take things a little slower in the beautiful North Country and spend more time with his beautiful wife Angela, originally from Massachusetts, his two children, Ollie aged 7, Pippa aged 5, and two dogs, Davey Crockett and Zoey.
